This is just to reiterate(?) what I already said in my bebo blog - but  thought it was too good a 3am rant to pass up posting in my "real blog" This is just the boring politics bit (more politics coming soon as well) Breasts may be the only reason this video of mine has been viewed 350 times! http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=0QJw8Xv3zaU They typed in "balloon" and "breasts" and got (to quote dishwisherwasher)  "soft porn............with politics and ugly people" homg I laffed so hard Oh and to those who voted National (carryingshopping - who commented 3 times btw)  You voted for CHANGE right? Well if change means going backwards in time to an era where National made sure the money was "cared for" by giving it to the fatcat companies.  The rich elitists which make up the lower percentile of people profited while your "caring for" families are left with rises in price of health care and education and even basic neccessities such as cheese and petrol,  BUT ITS ALRIGHT BECAUSE THEY HAVE LOWER TAXES Meanwhile ACT MPs Rodney Hide and Roger Douglas (picking up where they left off in the 80s) may continue PROSTITUTING NEW ZEALAND TO THE HIGHEST OVERSEAS BIDDER to quote another youtubian dwa2602 "*Cough Cough* [Cue the sound of no-one laughing]" Cue the sound indeed . . .  Oh look you came for the breasts BUT LEFT WITH THE POLITICS!! SUKONDAT dvinexc "yeah nd i doubt these kidz knw anythng abowt real politiks neway..."

Fitzroy

Fitzroy is awesome 

I found all this Graffiti art just in the backstreets on the way back from the supermarket a couple of blocks from our apartment. Admittedly I took a few sidetracks to find this stuff but its pretty awesome and all over the place

  This is a massive wall opposite the nearby library - I love the middle aged Teenage Mutant Ninja Donatello (far side)  The Princess Mononoke also has a matching Prince Ashitaka down the other end of the alley :)

The tsunami has been on this wall since the first time I visited in April but the others must have been done later

This is a small Audrey Hepburn (breakfast at Tiffany's) next to a chihuahua(?) and an octopus(?)

There is graffiti everywhere - its wonderful! You are always wondering what sight is going to be round the next corner - and its never painted over :)

There is also some tagging but overall the art takes over this part of Fitzroy its wonderful!

It really gives an edgy and creative feel to this suburb which makes me feel right at home

HELLO

Greetings! I have done what I never thought I would do - I HAVE CREATED A BLOG (dun dun dunn)

Well now . . THINGS

I don't know how often I'll be posting because I'm sure I'm not that interesting (+ I'm too lazy)

BUT GOODNESS I love Melbourne so much I want to show it to you all back home and this allows pictures put up with running commentary so yay! Running commentary! (ramble ramble ramble)

HERE IS PIKSURE:

Melbourne is pretty . .  I *heart* Melbourne (almost as much as Wellington)

It is so awesome! The weather is great too - It was really hot at first then it cooled down over the weekend - deceptive Melbourne! *shakes fist at the sky* you made me go out in the wind with only a tshirt on and it was a bit chilly! Curse you!

umm yea still quite hot though - Fitzroy is so cool ( thats where I live) and I'll post pictures next blog (oh man not another one!)
